On Thursday, Sept. 28, students at Eisenhower International School will welcome author, landscape design consultant, and gardening expert Brie Arthur as she visits the school to share her expertise on gardening through hands-on learning and a tour of the school's life lab. The visit will take place at Eisenhower International School, located at 3111 E. 56 St. from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Arthur will be in Tulsa serving as the guest speaker at the Tulsa Botanic Garden's Circle Dinner the previous evening and will hold a book signing at the Tulsa Botanic Garden promoting her book, The Foodscape Revolution.

In addition to speaking internationally, Arthur serves as the food-scaping and landscape design correspondent for the PBS show "Growing a Greener World" where she shares practical advice from her one-acre suburban landscape near Raleigh, North Carolina, encouraging others to embrace the hobby and the lifestyle of home gardening.
