Students will learn to create and burn a CD and DVD, compile their best works to present at the end of the school year, and demonstrate an understanding of vocabulary.

Students will compile a portfolio of best works and develop an electronic portfolio.

Students will learn about careers in the video and graphics cluster area.  The will learn about ethical and legal issues and participate in the business student organization.

Students will complete a research report on a chosen career and will participate in a field trip dealing with careers in this cluster area.

Multimedia and Image Management Techniques                                                                      10th-12th Grade

Rationale and Course Description

This course will allow students to acquire fundamental skills in image management procedures and techniques;, presentation skills, including visual and oral presentations;, professional communication skills;, methods for print and web publishing,; and certification standards and copyright basics as they develop an electronic portfolio.

 

How will students learn?

Students will learn through lectures, class discussions, hands-on training, demonstrations, projects, and performance evaluations.
