REGION COMPETITIVE EVENTS will be held at Muskogee First Baptist Church, Muskogee OK - Thursday January 25, 2007 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Alternate date in case of bad weather is February 1, 2007)
District Event Registration Deadline Date: TEN WORKING DAYS PRIOR TO EVENT (on-line registration)
Region Event Registration Deadline Date: JANUARY 10, 2007 (Events that originate at Region)
1. Interpersonal Communications, National Programs in Action, and Job Readiness Events start on the region level. Register on-line by January 10, 2007.
2. Job Interview and Career Investigation first place winners do not need to mail their portfolios. It will be judged during the Region events. Turn them in at registration.
3. In case of extreme weather conditions, ice/snow, tune into your local radio and television stations for cancellation information. Should weather conditions cause cancellation of events on the original and alternate dates, events will not be rescheduled. If this occurs on the region level, the Northeast Region will not advance to State.
ADVISERSALWAYS place the SAFETY of the students above all else when deciding whether or not to participate in the competitive events.
