Content:

Students will learn about Technology Student Association, participate in job shadowing, and research careers in the mechanical field.  They will also complete a plan of study and portfolio.

 

Suggested Student Performance/Product:

Students will complete a resume and career exploration on OKCIS software. They will also complete a portfolio of best works and such.

Construction II                                                                                                                      10th Grade

Rationale and Course Description

This course is designed to teach of cluster of occupations in the construction trade.  Students will receive entry level training in carpentry, cabinetmaking, masonry, and computer-aided drafting.

How will students learn?

Students will learn through classroom discussion, presentations, demonstrations, projects, and cooperative learning.
