Open Enrollment
The open enrollment period is held the first two weeks in October each year, with the changes becoming effective January 1 following the open enrollment period.
This is the one time a year that employees can make changes to their insurance coverage or enroll in insurance coverage if they are not presently enrolled.
Benefits Fair
The Tulsa Public Schools Benefits Department host a benefits fair each year at the Education Service Center before the open enrollment period. It is held during the last week of September for three (3) days. Those dates are announced every year prior to September.
During the benefits fair, there will be representatives present from the insurance companies to answer any questions. There will also be available the updated information regarding changes for the open enrollment period.
