Teresa Thomas, M.Ed., is a Program Coordinator for Special Education services.  Ms. Thomas joined the Education Service Center staff in September, 2004, bringing over 13 years of special education experience to the Department of Special Education and Student Services.  Ms. Thomas has enjoyed a career in both the support and certified educational settings.  She came to TPS through personal experiences with special education children and their unique needs.

Ms. Thomas earned her Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Northeastern State University at Muskogee in 1998.  Her Master of Early Childhood Education was earned at Northeastern State University in 2002.  Ms. Thomas’ certifications and endorsements include Learning Disabilities, Mental Retardation, Visual Impairments, Autism and Early Childhood Education.   Ms. Thomas has completed trainings in SRA, Literacy First, PDI Mentor Training, Learning Styles Institute, and Disability Law.
