2007-2008 Accountability Plan Results
The District’s Accountability Plan is based primarily on academic assessments but also includes other criteria which support the district’s goals. The Accountability Plan has twenty performance measures and schools are evaluated on each measure using a 4-point scale. The score for each school is used to determine the schools to be recognized.
Recognized Schools
- Distinguished Schools, the three highest scoring schools on the 2006-2007 Accountability Plan: one elementary, one middle and one high school
- Exemplary Schools, those schools averaging at least 3-points and above
- Commended Schools, those schools making significant improvement compared to the results of the 2005-2006 Accountability Plan (Revised Scores).
The schools identified as Distinguished, Exemplary and Commended are recognized at a Board of Education meeting, awarded a flag to fly at the site, and presented certificates for the certified staff.
