TPS Strategic Plan - Overview
During the 2004-2005 school year, the district provided support for the creation of school and department continuous improvement plans by establishing a five-year strategy. A district team created a plan format which allowed all district, department, and school plans to align with the goals of the district.
Each school selected a school improvement team comprised of the principal, faculty representatives, teachers, staff, parents and community members. These teams were provided training and support to write school and department plans to give direction to the work of the district staff.
This year, district, department, and school plans will again be revised and will be aligned with the district’s strategic plan. Each department and school improvement plan can be viewed as an action plan for carrying out the work of the district and linking both district and school efforts to raise academic achievement for all students.
