Would you like to subscribe to online newsletters or e-mail releases on current events or trends in your curriculum area?  These are a great way to keep up with upcoming online activities/projects, trends in your field, collaborate with fellow teachers, or get announcements of new websites.  These enable you to partner with fellow content teachers throughout the U.S.  Facts about list serves:
- They are mailing lists on specific topics
- You must sign-up for them and they are free
- Some are private and some public
- Messages are sent directly to your e-mail address
- They are usually moderated


 

Get FREE Newsletters E-mailed to You!  www.classroom.com   Join a listserve(s) to keep up with the latest.  Fellow teachers in your content area share great ideas on what works.  Also, you’ll get e-mails that contain information to help improve teaching.  These are great ways to know what is current in your field. 
Steps to Enroll:

  1. Go to www.classroom.com
  2. Join by registering at the site---FREE
  3. Select the tab at the top called “Community”
  4. On the left navigation bar, choose “E-mail Lists”
  5. Choose the ones you want to receive
