Memorial Circuit Chargers Sweep Honors
at
the St. Louis F.I.R.S.T. Regional Robotics Competition

The Memorial Circuit Chargers returned from the St. Louis
F.I.R.S.T. Regional Robotics Competition with big wins! F.I.R.S.T. (For
Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an organization with
the goal of making science and technology as valued in our society as sports and
entertainment. In support of this goal, each Regional awards one team the
Chairman’s Award for outstanding effort to
inspire the team’s community in science, engineering, and technology. The
Chairman’s Award considered the most prestigious
honor they give, even more than winning the robotics competition.
This is the first time that Memorial has entered a submission for this award and
we are the first Oklahoma team to receive it!
Memorial now gets to compete at the International Championship in Atlanta, GA in
April.
Our
congratulations go out to the Memorial robotics team and their illustrious
sponsors! |
