Take your students on a journey—to the land of the microscopic. This hands-on unit helps students become familiar with magnifiers and introduces them to microscopic organisms. Students handle a variety of apparatus such as droppers, slides, and coverslips. They also develop skills of detailed observation and precise recordkeeping in both words and drawings.
  Part of the Science and Technology for Children® curriculum, this unit is aligned with the National Science Education Standards and offers complete hands-on instruction. Student Safety Contract

At the first of every school year, each student should be given a copy of this contract.  It must be signed by student, parent or guardian and returned to you.  One copy per student covers all elementary kits.  Keep them on file for the duration of the school year.  You can open and print the contract here.
