*All applications will be subject to competitive review. Awards will be given only to PTAs in good standing. Check your status with your state PTA.
Proud National Sponsor Target Offers Field Trip Grant Program to Schools
Target understands that funds for school field trips are limited, so this year they've doubled the size of their one-of-a-kind, innovative Target Field Trip Grants program. 1,600 schools will win educators' grants of up to $1,000 this spring. See dolphins at the zoo; go behind the scenes at a local theatre, watch kids' eyes get huge at a science museum and more. It's all a part of Target's commitment to education. Apply online by November 1, 2007. Apply Online (www/target.com/teachers)

There is now an OMDR Webinar in the archives! Local unit officers can access
the pre-recorded webinar at any time! To register and receive the link for the
presentation, please visit
http://registration.intercall.com/go/nationalpta,
click on “Event Archives” in the left hand column and then “view” to register
for the archived webinar. This is a great training tool for all local unit
users, please encourage them to view the archived webinar!
We will also schedule live webinars for local unit officers. The webinars for October are listed below. Please remind all registrants that the times listed are Central time. We have been reaching our capacity for webinars, but many of those registered do not attend. Please remind your local unit officers that they are making a commitment to attend.
Tuesday, October 2 at 9:00 AM
Friday, October 5 at 2:00 PM
Thursday, October 11 at 11:00 AM
Tuesday, October 17 at 5:00 PM
Monday, October 22 at 11:00 AM
Tuesday, October 30 at 1:00 PM
We are also experiencing a backlog of files for the Batch Upload feature. Please advise your local units that the files may take a few hours to process. Once they have submitted a file, they should not submit it again. The file will be processed by the system. They should check the “Review batch upload log for errors” and the “View/Edit” feature to see if their members are in the system. Local units also need to be using the correct file format for the uploads.
Please pass along the Excel uploading template to your local units with instructions on how to use it. Thank you for your patience as we have many local unit users using the system!
Also, for local units who were using the system last year, they should be using the “Member Renewal” feature and not uploading previous members as new members.
Thank you for all of your help and support with OMDR!
