Navaah Williams won Second Place, and Kaylee Jones won Third Place in the Ages 7 and under category.

Bailey Sparlin won Third Place in the Ages 8 - 10 category.

2006 Family & Children's Poster Contest

"Family Traditions"

Breonia Fairconeture won First Place, and Micah Phillips won Third Place in the K-1st Grade category.

Breonia and Micah were asked why they chose the themes they did to represent their Family Traditions.

Breonia replied, "I did a picture of Fourth of July.  I like to watch the fireworks go off, and it's something I like to do with my family."

Micah answered, "Christmas is my favorite holiday.  We turn off the lights and light the fire and eat cookies and drink milk in front of the fire.  My mom makes the cookies."

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Poster Contest

Fifth grader Carrie Tiongson won First Place for her inspirational poster.

Stacy Bridgeman, also in Fifth grade, won Second Place for her colorful entry.
