For the 2005 "Principal's Reading Challenge", Bell Elementary School Principal Mary Ann Patrick challenged all our students (Pre-K to 5th Grade) to read for a total of 480,000 minutes over a six week period.  Our students not only reached Mrs. Patrick's goal, but went well beyond it to read for a total of 520,000 minutes !!

As a reward for our students, Mrs. Patrick and many of our teachers planned an exciting assembly to celebrate !

Using the theme from the Walt Disney movie "101 Dalmatians",  Mrs. Patrick, our teachers, and our Top Readers put on a program enjoyed by everyone !

Other guests who appeared in the program included Lisa Bycroft and David Martin from "Therapetics", an organization which trains dogs to help the handicapped,  Brenda Hughes and her boxer, Blaze from "Dog Training with Brenda", and an officer from the Tulsa Police K-9 Unit.
