Bell Elementary School students working on the

"Respect Diversity" quilt under the expert direction of

Mrs. Hattie Humphrey.

The Finished Quilt

Our quilt was entered in the annual "Respect Diversity Art & Poetry Contest" for Oklahoma students.  It will be showcased throughout the months of March and April, along with all the other entries, at the Kirkpatrick Science & Air Space Museum at Omniplex in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

There will be a prize winning entry selected from each age group.  A select group of teachers, writers, artists, and community leaders will serve as judges.

All winning entries will appear in the May 2004 issue of MetroFamily Magazine.

Bell Elementary School's quilt will then be returned to Tulsa where it will be displayed at one of the county libraries.   It will return "home" to Bell Elementary School sometime in May.

GOOD LUCK BELL STUDENTS !!
