Bell Elementary School held its Spelling Bee on Thursday, January 5, 2006.  Parents, relatives, and friends were all in attendance to cheer on their favorite student. Children from third through fifth grades competed.  Each homeroom sent three student representatives. 

Spelling Bee Coordinator, Mrs. Karen Lamoreaux, a Third Grade teacher, once again provided excellent leadership for our students.  Ms. Barbara Daniel, and Mrs. Diana Day served as judges for this year's event.

All participating students did an outstanding job!  Competition progressed, and it finally came down to two students...both named Madeline!

Madeline Medlock from Mrs. McGurer's Fifth Grade class was First Runner-Up.
