Bell Elementary School held its Spelling Bee on Wednesday,  January 23, 2008. 

Parents, relatives, and friends were all in attendance to cheer on their favorite student.

Each homeroom in third, fourth, and fifth grades sent two student representatives to compete.  

Spelling Bee Coordinator, Mrs. Jacquelyn Martin, a Second Grade teacher, provided excellent leadership for our students, 

and Mrs. Deborah Thomas, Ms. Barbara Daniel, and Mrs. Diana Day served as judges for this year's event.

All participating students did an outstanding job! 

Competition progressed, and it finally came down to two students...Jamie Swake and Stefanie Morgan

Stefanie Morgan from Mrs. Dixon's Fifth Grade class was First Runner-Up.

Jamie was also Bell Elementary School's  2006 - 2007 Spelling Bee Champion!
