Byrd Middle School's District and State test scores consistently place Byrd as one of Tulsa's strongest academic schools. Byrd's students excel not only academics, but in extra-curricular areas such as: essay contests, sports, cheer/pom, musical contests, academic contests, clubs and organizational programs, and are actively involved in giving back to the community. At Byrd, our desire is to prepare students with the knowledge and skills necessary to cope with the changes which they will encounter and develop a life-long love for learning. Our creative child centered curriculum and schedule is designed to support this goal.
