Alliteration

Alliteration is the repetition of the same sounds in several neighboring words.

The boy's breath blew blue bubbles.

Think:
Choose a letter, any letter.
Write a sentence using words that begin with that letter.
See how many words in a row you can use that begin with that letter.
The dictionary might help.  You might "need it" to stretch your sentence.
Carver Students, you may e-mail Mrs. Edwards your alliteration sentences.
I will put your sentences in the space below.  My e-mail address is edwarmo@tulsaschools.org .
