Environmental Science
Environmental Science provides students with the scientific principles, concepts, and methodologies required to:
- understand the interrelationships of the natural world,
- identify and analyze environmental problems,
- evaluate relative risks associated with these problems,
- examine alternative solutions for resolving or preventing these problems.
Central students integrate the arts in Environmental Science through Project-Based Learning. Using scientific and artistic design principals students created containers for the annual egg drop, demonstrated the flow of energy in a food web, and created a model city.
