Environmental Science

Environmental Science provides students with the scientific principles, concepts, and methodologies required to:

• understand the interrelationships of the natural world,
•  identify and analyze environmental problems, 
• evaluate relative risks associated with these problems, 
• examine alternative solutions for resolving or preventing these problems.  

Central students integrate the arts in Environmental Science through Project-Based Learning.  Using scientific and artistic design principals students created containers for the annual egg drop,  demonstrated the flow of energy in a food web, and created a model city.
