Safari's Sanctuary

Zoe is our winner! 

She is Chouteau's official mascot.  Our students raised $155.00 and Elizabeth Bartlett, our student Council President presented the check to Lori, the president of Safari Sanctuary, on Wednesday, May 2, 2007.

Lori brought pictures of the cougars and had cards made for each of our students.  Each card had pictures and facts about the cougars, which helped the students learn a little more about them.

Thank you Lori!!!!

On November 29, 2006, Safari's Sanctuary adopted us and we adopted their COUGARS!   Soon we will have a penny drive/contest to see which Cougar will be our "official" mascot.  All proceeds from the contest will go to Safari's Sanctuary to help feed the cougars.
