Mrs. Fritz
August 9, 2007
Dear Families,
Welcome to kindergarten! My name is Marsha Fritz and I am excited to be working with you and your child. It is going to be a great year as we learn about “The World Around Us”.
Our kindergarten class is the first door on the right just inside Chouteau’s main entrance. Our room number is 19. A bulletin board outside our classroom door will hold information all about kindergarten. Also, don’t forget to check out the school website www.tulsaschools.org/schools/chouteau .
Our kindergarten class will work together with Mrs. Lagers and her kindergarten students to enhance our learning opportunities. We will share our morning calendar time, story time, and recess. Both kindergarten rooms connect, giving the students a chance to share space, yet allowing for small groups as well.
This is my seventeenth year of teaching. I have taught kindergarten, second, and third grades. This is my second year at Chouteau Elementary School. I am so glad to be a part of such a wonderful school.
On a personal note, my husband, Derek, and I have been married for seventeen years. We have a four year old daughter, Lauren, who is attending Chouteau’s Pre-K class. We share our home with a bouncy beagle named Robbie. When I am not at school, I can often be found at our church where I work with preschoolers. As I find free time, I enjoy scrapbooking and card making, reading, and watching movies.
You are your child’s first and most important teacher. I am glad to be part of your team to help your child grow. Please let me know if you have a concern, comment, or question. You can e-mail me at fritzma@tulsaschools.org , send a note to school with your child, or you can reach my voice mail by calling 833-8800, and I will get back with you as soon as possible. I am usually available after school if you need to speak to me in person.
Sincerely
Marsha Fritz
