 Important Facts

School begins promptly at 7:55 am.  A student is considered tardy at 7:55 am.  Dismissal is at 2:45 pm in the main hall.

Homework:  There will be something every night.  See the homework magnet.  Your child should be writing assignments in a daily planner.  Homework is due the next school day unless it is part of a long term project.  If your child has nothing in their planner, contact us!

Opportunities!

Our students are offered special classes in the arts, library/research, computers, and physical education.  This year we will also take part in special interest clubs once a week.  Keyboarding and chorus will also be offered.

Leadership and service opportunities are available through wonderful Campfire and Scouting programs as well as Peer Mediation and Student Council.

 Schedules

Mrs. Wilkinson will be teaching all Language Arts and Social Studies.

Mrs. Mason will be teaching all Math, Science, and Handwriting.

At 10:45 each day the two classes will switch.

Music and P.E. classes will be at least twice a week depending on the quarter.  Some quarters it may be more.

All students will use the computer program called SuccessMaker.  This program places students at their working level and advances them from there.  You will receive frequent notices of just where your child is performing.  We feel this program helped our students be successful on the state mandated test that occurs in the spring.

 Expectations!

We have high expectations for all students.  Your child’s success depends on your participation with us.  We are counting on you!
