The Cleveland Middle School Counseling Program involves a developmental approach, an approach that reaches children at their current, developmental level.

Each year, the counselors send out hundreds of surveys to parents, students, teachers and community members to elicit feedback and discover areas for which improvement is needed.

All stakeholders are encouraged to participate in the on-site counseling committee to help determine how best to meet the needs of the learning community.

CMS supports the Tribes model of community learning and the Discipline with Dignity model of discipline.

CMS counselors are happy to set individual parent/teacher conferences and answer all questions regarding testing.
