The Tulsa Model


The Tulsa Model is a scientifically-based, level-driven plan of improvement.  It includes

progressive stages beginning with Stage Zero and ending with full implementation during

Stage Three by the 2004-2005 school year.

 

The Tulsa Model addresses six key areas:

 

Each school in the district is expected to improve in each area at the prescribed time.  The vision, as

directed by Dr. David Sawyer, is that Tulsa Public Schools provides, "a quality learning experience for

every student, every day, without exception."
