I almost decided not to recommend this book to you, but I felt that you were mature enough to handle it. It deals with a sensitive issue, rape. Gail is a normal junior in high school. She had a boyfriend her mother didn't approve of, a best friend, Alison who was dating the son of the town's leading citizen. Everything was normal until she began finding letters in her locker, sick twisted letters, explicit sexual letters and she began receiving dirty phone calls from someone who knew when she would be alone. This book details her horrifying experiences, the shocking identity of the rapist, and her struggle to cope with the rape. Will she get justice? Will the rapist strike again?
