Louise, a delicate, elderly lady who is worth a fortune. Something is wrong Miss
Marple can feel it, almost taste it. Is it the criminal rehabilitation center on
the estate? Perhaps it is Carrie Louise's two stepsons or her resentful
daughter? Maybe it is the promiscuous granddaughter or her crabby, foreign
husband? Or is it the rehabilitated employee who lives in the house and begins
to act deranged? It takes a foggy night, a blown fuse, and a suddenly dark room
becomes full of suspects. In minutes someone attempts to murder Carrie Louise's
husband and a foundation trustee is murdered. The stage is set for even more
mayhem. Soon, it is discovered that Carrie Louise is being poisoned slowly.
Who's next? There are too many secrets and some people know too much.
