No Earthly Sunne
by Margaret Ball
Subjects: Computers & Technology
Genre: Fantasy
It
has been said that music can bridge worlds. Ellen didn't believe it. Ellen was
once a musician and now she is a master computer programmer. She gave up singing
after collapsing during the middle of a recital of a sixteenth century song
written by Kit Arundel. She'd felt strange during the performance almost like
she was in another world. She hasn't touched music since. Everything was fine
until an unearthly man convinces her to fly to England to perform the masque
that ended her musical career on Midsummer's Night. Strange things begin to
happen. The countryside of England starts to change, there are rumors that the
Faire world will meet earth, and who is this strange man who says he is Kit
Arundel and claims that she is his Eleanor. Surely she is not the Eleanor of so
long ago and he is not the Kit of four hundred years ago. Music can't bridge the
worlds . . . can it?
