The
Seventeenth Century is known for its witch hunts. It is 1678 and Kit moved from
Barbados to the Puritan Connecticut Colony. On her way to the colony, Kit jumps
overboard and swims and rescues a child's doll. Little did she know that act
would cause a cascade of events. You see, you shouldn't be able to swim. If you
can swim you are a witch and are hung or burned. If you can't swim, you drown.
Either way you lose. She is a free-spirited, outspoken young woman who is
suddenly thrust into a stifling environment. She is strange and people are
suspicious of her. What's worse, she is actually associating with a known witch,
Old Lady Hannah, a Quaker. A fever breaks out an children start to die. She is
accused of witchcraft. Will she be convicted? Will she hang? To find out read The
