Selected to Attend
Honeywell
Space
Academy This Summer
Edison Middle School
Science Teacher Elisa Heroux has been selected to attend the Honeywell’s Space Academy
for Educators which allows 300 educators from around the
world to go to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama for a week, all
expenses paid. Teachers experience 45 hours of activities, speakers
and experiences that are designed to be taken back and implemented
in the classroom. Teachers also participate in astronaut training
simulators, simulated space shuttle missions and water rescue
activities. All activities are correlated to National Science and
Math Standards and are ready to use in the classroom.
Congratulations are in order for Mrs. Heroux. We know that both she
and her students will benefit!
