LOOK BACK

What is the question you have to answer?

         How many votes were cast?

How many candidates are in the election race?

         What does lowest possible mean?

         What does difference mean?

What number would be more than one-half of the votes?

What is the lowest possible majority?  What operation did you use to find this number?

What is the lowest possible plurality?  What operation did you use to find this number?

What is the difference between the lowest possible majority and the lowest possible plurality?

Read the problem again.  Look at the information given and the main question.   Review your work.  Is your answer reasonable?  Did you include the correct unit of measure?
