Hello! My name is Alison Atchison and I will be your child’s teacher this year at Eliot Elementary.  This will be my 7^th year at Eliot and I am looking forward to a wonderful year of exploration and learning with your child.

I am a graduate of Cascia Hall Preparatory School and earned a degree from Oklahoma State University as well as another from NSU.  I have two wonderful children who I am so proud of - Madison is a third grader at Eliot and we welcomed Miles in December of 2005. My husband Michael is a captain with the Tulsa Fire Department and is going on his 19^th year.  I have spent most of my life in Tulsa, but recently my husband and purchased a small farm and now call Claremore our home. My passion is my family and we enjoy spending time together playing tennis, golf and just hanging out.  (Believe me the farm life brings lots of activities and challenges.)

I feel so fortunate to be a part of Eliot Elementary and very lucky to belong to an excellent group of educators and families.  I have met so many wonderful people through my job. Each child I have taught, as well as their families, has touched my life in some aspect.  Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child’s life this year.  I promise to present many challenges with the most nurturing environment possible.
