Our Mission

The mission of the Grissom Elementary Library is to ensure that our students are effective users of ideas and information.  We want our students to be life long learners and we will accomplish this by providing access to materials and activities that integrate information literacy skills into the curriculum.  We want our students to be responsible users of information evaluating their sources, documenting and respecting intellectual property.  Flexible access and collaboration or partnerships with teachers are priorities that help make our library a student-centered library that in turn is the center of our school.  Our library connects us to the world.
