GEAR Up! helps scholars prepare and plan for college and careers.

The Reading Counts! program is used by the Hamilton reading teachers and the librarian to motivate scholars, measure progress, and engage readers with outstanding books.  Scholars begin by taking the Scholastic Reading Inventory and then read library and other books on their reading levels. When finished with a book, a scholar takes a quiz to earn points.  Special awards are given to those reaching and surpassing their goals.
