                     Osage Casino                                                      First Christian Church

A special thank you for the generous donations from both the Osage Casino and Chief Gray along with the members of First Christian Church who made the Christmas season a lot brighter for the students  and teachers at Hawthorne Elementary.

CONGRATULATIONS! to Patricia Whitfield, newly National Board Certified Teacher. Ms. Whitfield was among 439 Oklahomans to earn the teaching profession's top recognition this year. Currently there are 1,995 National Board Certified teachers in Oklahoma. National Board Certification is the most prestigious credential a teacher can earn. Like board-certified doctors and accountants, teachers who achieve this certification have met rigorous standards through intensive study, expert evaluation, self-assessment and peer review.
