It is my pleasure to welcome parents, students, and visitors to Hawthorne Elementary School's website. Please take the time to browse and become acquainted with our wonderful school environment and the accomplishments of our students and staff.

The success of Hawthorne depends on the cooperation and partnership of the major stakeholders: students, staff, parents, and community. The students of Hawthorne are expected to be respectful, take responsibility for their learning, and have pride in their school and community.

We expect our parents to be an integral part of the Hawthorne School community. We are grateful when parents support our efforts by volunteering their time and supporting school activities. Hawthorne has an active Parent/Teacher Association, which welcomes all parents and is hoping for 100% membership this year. We are also grateful for the support that we receive from our partnerships with local businesses and community members.

I look forward to the challenges and rewards ahead  as we work together to create a caring, safe, and respectful environment capable of producing responsible citizens for the future.
