Finding the Computer's Network Identification Name

Windows 95

Right click on the "Network Neighborhood" icon on your computer's desktop - then mouse to "Properties" and left click.
Next, click on the "Identification" tab.  A window will appear with "Computer Name" in the first open box.  Record the name exactly as it is written and send this in with your error report.  Example of a name:   "KENDALL-MC213"

Windows 2000 & Windows XP

Right click on the "My Computer" icon on your computer's desktop - then mouse to "Properties" and left click.  Next click on the "Network Identification" tab.   The computer name will be listed next to "Computer Full Name" in the window. Record the name exactly as it is written and send this in with your error report.  Example of a name:   "KENDALL-MC213"
