Francis Scott
Key Elementary
Francis Scott Key
Elementary School is named in honor of the author of the National
Anthem, Francis Scott Key, who wrote the poem in 1814 aboard a
British ship seeking a prisoner's release.
Francis Scott Key has
been a "shining star" in the Tulsa Public School system since it was
built in 1960. It has received the Tulsa Public Schools "Exemplary
Award" for the "district's most improved school." We are proud of
our past accomplishments and present success. We eagerly anticipate
the future in which students, faculty, staff and community "reach
for the stars." We hope you enjoy our website and remember, "It's a
wonderful day at Key Elementary."
