Hi, my name is Kim Kalen and I teach first grade. This is my ninth year at Lanier. I graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduating, I taught kindergarten here at Lanier before moving to first grade.

I love teaching but have other hobbies as well. I am certified in SCUBA diving. I love scuba trips and would love to swap diving stories with anyone. I also enjoy animals of all kinds just ask my class.
