English Language Learners
make up 45% of the student population at
Marshall. Ms. Brunoldi and Mrs. O'Dea are the designated ELL instructors
that are
charged to help
ensure that children who are limited English proficient,
including immigrant children, attain English proficiency,
develop high levels of academic attainment in English, and
meet the same challenging State academic content and student
academic achievement standards as all children are expected
to meet.
The best way to
learn a new language is to practice reading, writing, listening
and speaking. Students who are proficient at doing this in their
native language usually find it easier to learn a new language.
Practice, Practice, Practice!
