Since 1990 The Arts have been part of the core curriculum in
Oklahoma. The Priority Academic Student Skills
(PASS) in The Arts is a basic curriculum framework of both
visual art and general music. Through the ages the
arts have been used to express happiness, sorrow, love and
many other very real human emotions. The arts are
often asked to express that which cannot be expressed
through words.
