Third grade
will be working on Unit 3 for our next Benchmark Test.
Spatial Reasoning and Coordinate
Locations: Identify locations on a grid with ordered pairs.
Data Analysis: Pose questions, collect,
record, and interpret data to help answer questions (for example: what
is what is our favorite pizza topping and answer questions “how many
more” or “how many less”, learning how to read a graph key).
Data Analysis: Read graphs and charts;
identify the main idea, draw conclusions, make predictions based on
the data (for example: predict how many children will bring their
lunch based on a menu).
Data Analysis: Construct a bar graph or
pictograph with labels and a title from a set of data.
Be able to recognize the different kinds
of graphs and be able to state their purpose.
