Greatschools.net is an online guide to K-12 schools that represents a great opportunity for every school in the district. It is a free site that contains information about every school, including a school profile, demographic data, and test scores. But the best thing is each principal has the ability to edit the information about his/her school and add or modify information to really tell the school's story. Tribes - we employ tribes here at Mayo, but where did they originate from and how did we come to employ them here at Mayo. Read all about it at tribes.com. The site appears to be a great source of information for anyone relocating to Tulsa, and it can be a great public relations tool for your school if you will take a few minutes to go to the site and edit your school's information. You can edit the profile, and brag about your programs and the great things going on in your school. Kagan - the father of I.T.I. (the Mayo Model) Mayo is founded entirely on the concept of Integrated Thematic Instruction (I.T.I.) This site is an excellent place to go for more information about this proven form of instruction that Mayo is well-known for its practice of.

Invention At Play Wow!!! What a Site!!!
I saw the children in Laurie Smith's class using this site and was blown away. It is totally interactive and let's you build and try out fun inventions, aka, Milton & Bradley's Mouse Trap game, only online. I know that I saw but a small sample of the neat things the site, which is free of course, has to offer. I encourage anyone to check it out.
