Enrollment Information

          Tulsa Public School policy states that any student enrolling in TPS, whether it be a new enrollment or a re-enrollment from suspension or other withdrawal, MUST provide Proof of Residency.   

Proof of Residency

A CURRENT utility bill (gas, electricity, water/sewer) or a CURRENT lease.  The utility bill must be in the legal parent or legal guardian’s name.  The lease must list as occupants the legal parent or legal guardian AND the student.  Disconnect or Cut-Off notices are not acceptable.  Drivers’ licenses, checks, cable bills or phone bills are NOT proof of residency and will not be accepted.   

A legal parent or legal guardian MUST be present

with the child at the time of enrollment.

Grandparents, friends or other relatives may not enroll the student unless they can provide court-appointed guardianship documentation.  Student and parent must be here before 10:00 a.m. and the student must be prepared to attend classes for the rest of the day (which may include a minimum of five hours).  

Immunizations

          A current record of immunizations must be provided at the time of enrollment or already on file at the time of enrollment.
