Sondra Brake
Fifth Grade Teacher |

Sondra Brake,
B.S., is a new fifth grade teacher at
Park
School.
She brings 7 years of teaching experience to our school, having
previously served as a substitute teacher, a fourth grade
teacher, and a teacher of gifted and talented students. Mrs.
Brake has taught in Missouri, and at Whitman Elementary in
Tulsa. She earned her Associate of Arts Degree from Hillsdale
Free Will Baptist College in 1984 and her Bachelor of Science
Degree in Elementary Education from the
University of
Oklahoma
in 1986.
Mrs. Brake lives in
Tulsa with her husband and 3 children, two of which attend
Park School. She
enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and
“loves” watching OU football games.

Tyran Cartledge
First Grade Teacher |

Tyran
Cartledge, B.S., is the first grade Math/Science Teacher at Park
Elementary. She began her teaching career at
Park
School
in 1992, and has previously taught 1st through 5th
grades. Mrs. Cartledge earned her Bachelor of Science Degree
from Northeastern State University in 1991 and holds Oklahoma
certification in Elementary Education, and Language Arts for
Middle School. Mrs. Cartledge is certified to serve as a member
of the Oklahoma Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT).
Mrs. Cartledge lives in Sand Springs with her husband and two
children. She enjoys going to the lake with her family,
listening to country music, and training her 2 year-old
Bullmastiff dog named “Sarge”. They hope that one day “Sarge”
will receive his certification to serve as a therapy dog.

Melissa Falk
Resource Teacher |

Melissa Falk,
M.A., serves Park Elementary School as a special education
teacher for students with special needs. Mrs. Falk joined the
educational team at
Park School in 1994,
bringing previous teaching experience from Marshall Elementary
and Clinton Middle School. This year will be Mrs. Falk’s 27th
year educating students in the Tulsa Public School District.
Mrs. Falk earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education at
Oklahoma Christian University in 1978. In 1990 she earned her
Master’s Degree in Learning Disabilities from Northeastern State
University and holds certifications and endorsements in
Elementary Education, Multi-Handicapped, Physically Handicapped,
Autism, Other Health Impaired, and Middle School Math/Science.
Mrs. Falk is certified to serve as a member of the Oklahoma
Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT).
Mrs. Falk resides in
West Tulsa with her husband, 3 dogs and a cat. She has 2 grown
children and her interests include reading, and shopping at
garage sales and flea markets

Kathy Forman
Kindergarten Teacher |

Kathy
Forman, M.S., is a Kindergarten Teacher at Park School. Ms.
Forman began teaching at Park School in 2001, bringing teaching
experience from Oilton, Oklahoma where she taught 6th
grade. She also previously taught Early Childhood courses for
five years at Langston University. This year will be Ms.
Forman’s 23rd year educating students in Tulsa Public
Schools.
Ms. Forman earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Early
Childhood from Oklahoma State University in 1973, and her Master
of Science Degree in Family Relations and Child Development from
OSU in 1975. She holds certification and endorsements in Early
Childhood, Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and middle school
Science.
Ms. Forman lives in Tulsa with her 2 children and 3
grandchildren. She enjoys reading, gardening, and scrapbooking.

Terri Guillory
Speech-Language Pathologist |

Terri Guillory,
M.Ed. CCC-SLP, serves as the Speech-Language Pathologist at Park
Elementary School. Ms. Guillory joined the educational
team at Park School in 1998, bringing 15 years of previous
teaching experience from the Oklahoma City Public School
District. This will be her 25th year providing services for students
with communication disorders in Oklahoma.
Ms. Guillory earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education
from the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) in 1983, and a
Master of Education Degree from UCO in 1985. She holds the
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) in Speech-Language
Pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association,
and Oklahoma State Licensure in Speech Pathology. Ms. Guillory
also holds teaching certification and endorsements in Speech
Pathology. She serves as the webmaster for the Tulsa Public
Schools Special Education website, as well as the Park
Elementary School website. Ms. Guillory is certified to serve as
a member of the Oklahoma Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT).
Ms. Guillory lives in Bixby near her niece and nephew. She
enjoys traveling, reading, scrapbooking and playing guitar. Ms.
Guillory also enjoys attending her niece and nephew’s many
sporting activities which include volleyball, football, baseball
and basketball.

Stephanie Johnson
Third Grade Teacher |

Stephanie
Johnson, B.S., is a third grade teacher at Park Elementary. She
previously taught for two years at Houston Elementary School in
Tulsa. Mrs. Johnson has worked at Park school for 10 years,
formerly teaching pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first grade,
and second grade. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in
Elementary Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in
1994. Mrs. Johnson holds certification and endorsements in
Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. She is
certified to serve as a member of the Oklahoma Citizen Emergency
Response Team (CERT).
Mrs. Johnson resides in Berryhill with her husband and
7-year-old daughter. She enjoys going to her daughters sporting
events, and has a very large extended family. Mrs. Johnson’s
mother is one of 16 children. At last count, she has over 100
cousins!
