TPS Calendars TPS Lunch Menu Contact Us SEARCH From the Principal . . . . . Dear Parent(s) or Guardian(s), The staff at Roosevelt joins me in extending to you and your child a warm and sincere welcome for the school year. We invite and encourage you to join us in providing the best educational opportunities for the school year. Our school provides a supportive learning environment that enables all students to maximize and achieve their full learning potential. Classroom instruction and special programs are based on Tulsa Public schools Integrated Curriculum. Multiage programs are available for qualifying students. Students are recognized for their success in grades and behavior. Their accomplishments are acknowledged quarterly through a special recognition program. We encourage parents, grandparents, and other family members to attend these assemblies. A variety of special opportunities will be provided for you to become an active member of our school community. A list of activities for the 2007-2008 school year is provided for you in our school handbook. We will be making a special effort to stay in touch with you. I will be randomly calling homes throughout the year to discuss school issues. Various types of information will be sent home with your child monthly. Look for an event calendar, cafeteria menu, parent educational tip sheet, monthly bulletin, and student recognition flyer. Further, your communication with us is very important. Please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher or me whenever you need information or have a concern. By working together, not only will your child benefit, but also you will enjoy knowing that you have made a worthwhile contribution to our school and community. Thank you for your support. Sincerely,
Dr. Diane M. Dross
