TPS Calendars TPS Lunch Menu Contact Us SEARCH "I Caught You Reading Program" Dear Parent(s), This year I am continuing the program called "I Caught You Reading". Research shows that reading for pleasure as little as 15 minutes a day can help a child become a better reader, and be a more successful student and adult. Reading outside of school can sustain, and in many cases, increase the levels of reading growth experienced in the classroom. Reading is the key that unlocks learning in all subjects. I will be calling your homes randomly, Monday through Thursday nights, unless you let me know that you do not want me to. I will be asking you, did you see your child reading for pleasure, or have you read to your child for that week. Students caught reading or read to for pleasure will receive the following:
