This is my 20th year in public education. I also taught in private preschools for 12 years. I graduated from TU in education and from Northeastern with my masters in counseling. My family is very important to me and a big part of who I am. I married my high school sweetheart almost 37 years ago and we have 3 grown kids, a beautiful granddaughter, and another grandbaby on the way. I enjoy playing bridge and bunco, try to play golf, love antiquing, always have a book to read, and enjoy sailing our boat on Lake Oologah. I have taught kindergartens, 6th, 7th and 8th graders over the years in English, reading, social studies and even journalism. This is my 6th year as a counselor. I think middle schoolers are the best and truly love working with this age. Thoreau has been a wonderful experience for me. I came to Thoreau with Mr. Padalino 6 years ago and this experience has enriched my life as I have watched my abilities grow. I wouldn’t have gotten these opportunities at any other school. Thoreau will always be number 1 to me.
