Science Inquiry Instructions

  1. Students will choose 1 of five available experiments.
  2. Students will gather the materials and conduct the experiment at home.
  3. Students will document their findings through pictures, drawings, and written observations as they complete the experiment.
  4. Students may share their experiment by either creating a poster or a PowerPoint presentation that identifies the components of the Scientific Method. If a PowerPoint is chosen; send the finished product on a flash drive for presentation.
  5. Each presentation will be accompanied by a written Lab Report (using the format given in class and written in the Science Log).
  6. Posters and Power points are intended to communicate the experiment to the audience so that they may learn from it also. Creativity is encouraged.
