Water Cycle

Poster Inquiry

Create a poster illustrating the water cycle using the following guidelines:

  1. Your poster must be on a standard poster board (approx. 28" x 25") of any color. ____/5

  2. Create a catchy slogan that relates to the water cycle and write the slogan in personal best handwriting on the poster. ____/10

  3. Poster must have colorful graphics and/or materials that illustrate the water cycle. Be creative. ____/10

  4. Each part of the water cycle will be correctly labeled in scientific terms. The process will be illustrated with arrows. ____/15

  5. Include a written explanation in paragraph form of the water cycle. Be sure to include the following scientific terms: condensation, precipitation, accumulation, runoff, seepage, evaporation, transpiration. Attach the

  6. Using your poster as a visual, present the poster to the class. Presentation must be well rehearsed and in your own words incorporating the scientific terms so that you demonstrate an understanding of the water cycle.
